Philippines:Canon 8D

The pros of Canon 8D are the following:

1Canon EOS 8D has dual DIGIC 4 processors. They provide continuous shooting at 8fps per second.
2Patented APS-C CMOS sensor with an improved photodiode and micro lens construction. The sensor offers one of the most versatile ISO ranges on the market and namely 100 to 12,800.
318 megapixel resolution. It produces excellent picture clarity. More importantly, this camera has one of the highest resolutions on the market, especially compared to its nearest competitors, such as Nikon D7000, which has a 16-megapixel resolution only.
4Improved cross-type auto-focus system with 19 points. It includes Zone and Spot AF. You will be able to capture every moment perfectly without the picture having any defects.
53-inch LCD screen, Clear View II, with 920,000 dot resolution. You get the perfect camera live view for taking the most precise picture. The high-resolution screen is perfect for making movies as it comes with Full HD video support.

Canon 8D : The Cons

Here is a list of the major cons of the Canon 8D :

Canon 8D does not have a dual card slot memory cards feature. This is something that almost all pros and semi-pros appreciate. Indeed, it allows you to work faster so that you do not miss the right moment for taking the perfect picture.
    .
A standard Canon menu system without improved features, but with added complexity. Even though the system is functional in general, you will need some time to understand its fundamentals.

Still, the Custom Function menu is relatively complex to use. This has a negative effect on the overall usability of the menu and of the camera in general.
    .
Stabilization via the camera lens. The stabilization is quite good, but the stabilization you get is limited by the lens you choose. This limitation is certainly a drawback.

My money goes to Canon 450D.

If you have the time, you can check out Hidalgo in Quiapo in the hopes of getting a bargain (if you’re good at price haggling). Mayer’s and Henry’s store are among the most visited there. If you’re busy and don’t want to be bothered for a trip, you can check out several online stores like Gadget Grocery and Kim’s Store in Multiply."
